What Sync Scala does, how credits work, and where the limits are.
Straight answers to useful questions.
What does Sync Scala do?
Sync Scala helps turn your website and offer into an editable ideal customer profile, then provides a workspace for researching companies, organising contacts and reviewing provider costs. Account setup, buyer-profile drafting and list import/export are available. Discovery and verification depend on activated external providers; the workspace shows when a required connection is unavailable.
What information do I need to start?
Bring your website address and a clear sentence about what you sell. Add the regions, company sizes and buyer roles that matter to you. An offer such as bookkeeping for UK construction firms is more useful than a broad description such as business services. Do not include secrets or sensitive personal information in the description.
What is an ideal customer profile?
An ideal customer profile, or ICP, describes the types of organisations most likely to need your offer. Useful criteria include industry, company size, location, business problem and buying role. Sync Scala can draft the profile with AI, but you should edit it using real customer evidence before approving research.
Will it find every company and the exact decision-maker?
No database covers every company or reliably proves who has final purchasing authority. Results depend on your filters, the provider's coverage and the freshness of the underlying records. Use a matching title as a research signal, then check the person's current role and whether your offer is relevant.
Are phone numbers and direct dials available now?
Phone-number enrichment is not currently implemented. A phone field in an imported file does not mean Sync Scala discovered or verified that number. We will identify phone discovery as available only when the integration, pricing and appropriate checks are in place.
Does Sync Scala find work emails or private personal emails?
The intended enrichment workflow is for professional work contact details. It is not access to a person's private inbox and should not be used to seek sensitive or private personal records. Named work addresses can still be personal data, so you must have a lawful reason to use them and respect objections.
What does a verified email mean?
Verified means the relevant provider reported that status when it checked the address. It does not guarantee future delivery, inbox placement, a response or a sale. Catch-all and unknown results are not the same as verified. Verification also does not establish consent or legal permission to send a message.
How do credits and provider costs work?
Your balance and credit movements appear in the workspace. Review the estimate or maximum before approving an enabled provider-backed run. A hold reserves credits; settlement releases that hold and records the actual charge. Provider calls can cost credits even when no usable contact is returned. Review the run receipts rather than assume a fixed price for every lead.
Do I need a subscription, and how do I cancel?
Paid checkout and recurring subscriptions are not active at this launch. Creating an account does not start a paid subscription. You can stop using the service at any time, and request account closure through the contact form or support@syncscala.com. Logging out does not delete the account. Purchase and cancellation terms will be published before paid plans are enabled.
Can I import and export a lead list?
The workspace supports CSV and Excel list workflows. Review the field mapping and import summary so you understand accepted, duplicate, invalid and suppressed rows. Importing a list does not automatically verify its contents. Only upload data you are entitled to process, arrange any required data processing agreement first, and protect your exported copies.
Which AI service processes my buyer profile?
The integration supports OpenRouter and, where configured, Anthropic. Relevant website and offer information is sent to the active model when you request generation. Provider data policies vary, so do not assume every model has zero retention or no training use. Ask support about the current configuration before submitting restricted information.
Can I email a contact just because the address is verified?
No. You must assess applicable privacy and direct-marketing rules, your lawful basis, any consent requirement and the recipient's right to object. Rules can differ for companies, sole traders, partnerships and communication channels. Identify yourself, offer a usable opt-out and respect suppression requests. Sync Scala does not provide a universal permission to send cold outreach.
How do I ask for my information to be corrected or removed?
Use the contact form or email support@syncscala.com with the relevant account or professional contact details and your request. We may need proportionate verification and, for customer-controlled records, to involve the customer. Access, correction, objection and deletion rights depend on the applicable law and circumstances. We explain any lawful retention or other limitation rather than promise instant deletion of every copy.
How do I contact support?
Use the contact form or support@syncscala.com. Include your account email, a short description and the relevant run reference. Do not send passwords, API keys or payment-card details. A form confirmation means the request was saved for review; it is not a promise of immediate email delivery or a fixed response time.
